So, to those Levites, I say, In all the power and authority of the name of Jesus Christ,
Wake. Up.
It's time to pick up your harps and sing the ancient song again. It’s time to tear down the idols that challenge the placement of your affection. It’s time to divorce the demonic doctrines that tamed the passions of your first love. It’s time to clear out the temple and draw a line in the sand between what is holy and what is common because there is a difference between what is holy and what is common. Ask where God is again. Get love sick again, and don't numb your heart from the tension you will inevitably experience. You're an exile in the world, it shouldn’t be comfortable. You shouldn’t be able to relate to it or be relevant in it. Lean into the holy dissatisfaction you feel in your bones, because there is more. There is more than what this modern Babylon has to offer.
You were not created for the consumption of men but for intimacy with God. The pinnacle of your call is not to encourage people, but to tend to the Lamb. So tend to the Lamb. Stop settling for the outer courts by convincing yourself that it’s the most holy place. It's not the most holy place. There is more. You are His everlasting habitation, The dwelling place for the Most High, and we are a holy nation and a royal priesthood.
What would happen if we actually believed it?
It's time for the manifestation of the sons and daughters of Christ to rise in the American Church - It’s time for reformation. This is a call to arms. Put on the full armor of God, and stand your ground.
It's time for war.
Not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
For too long we have watched the American church get attacked by demonic forces, all while we justify its existence with hollow theology and ornate language. For too long we have treated the bride of Christ as a concubine, and have objectified her as a means for self-promotion. For too long we have presented offerings that communicate a lack of the knowledge of God, and in doing so, we have invited perversion into holy spaces.
The idolatrous affection of our day has influenced what it means to follow Jesus, and now our churches look more like self-help country clubs, our worship sets look more like awkward karaoke sessions, and our worship leaders look more like washed-up social media influencers.
At large, we’ve lost reverence, we’ve lost power, and we’ve lost love.
So, it’s time for war, not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. This is a call to arms against a Babylonian Spirit that has bewitched many of our levites into a state of spiritual slumber.
It’s Time For War.
Hi! I’m Kaleigh!
My husband, Jathan, and I have two little girls and serve Habitation Church with Pastor William Hinn in Estero Florida. Over the past five years, I have had the honor of helping establish three churches, I have written and recorded original songs for various projects, and I have created and taught a curriculum on worship leadership for multiple ministry schools.
I am determined to help raise a new generation of "spirit and truth" worship leaders, and have committed my life to tending to The Lamb. Will you join me?
